Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, chop, slice, and measure ingredients accurately according to recipes and prep lists.
• Organize and stock ingredients at workstations before service to ensure readiness.
• Label and store food items following food safety and rotation rules (FIFO/FEFO).
• Wash utensils, sanitize surfaces, and maintain clean work areas during and after shifts.
• Assist line cooks with basic cooking tasks and sauce reductions.
• Apply safe knife skills to prepare ingredients quickly and safely.
• Follow hygiene and sanitation guidelines to maintain food safety standards.
• Manage time effectively to complete tasks promptly in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Maintain physical stamina to stand long hours and lift heavy items as required
