Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage overall store operations, including team leadership, customer service, and sales performance

• Supervise retail staff, overseeing scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment

• Maintain store cleanliness, hygiene, and high visual merchandising standards

• Oversee the care and welfare of live animals, including feeding routines and health monitoring

• Address customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally and promptly

• Execute in-store promotions and support the achievement of sales targets

• Ensure full compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and AVS guidelines

• Prepare and submit regular sales and operational reports (daily, weekly, monthly)

Requirements:

• Proven experience in retail management, ideally in pet or lifestyle retail

• Genuine passion for animals with basic pet care knowledge

• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities

• Skilled at multitasking in a dynamic, fast-paced setting

• Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office applications
