Job summary

AAC Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Machinist/Engineering Technician to operate and set up precision cutting and grinding machinery, ensuring accurate part setup and alignment.

You will read drawings, GD&T tolerances, and perform in-process and final inspections to maintain surface finish and quality. This role requires hands-on process optimization, record keeping, and adherence to safety and 5S standards; 5 days work week, Tampines area.

Qualifications

• Diploma / NITEC / Higher NITEC in Precision Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of machining experience in Wire Cut or Grinding, preferably in precision, optics, semiconductor, or electronics industries.
• Hands-on experience in process optimization, yield improvement, and quality systems.
• Able to read technical drawings, tolerances, and GD&T; detail-oriented, independent, and willing to work shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up Wire Cut (AGIE/FANUC) or Surface Grinding machines, including workpiece setup, alignment, tooling, and parameter setting.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and GD&T requirements.
• Perform in-process and final inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure quality and surface finish standards.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize machining parameters and processes to improve productivity and quality.
• Maintain accurate production records and comply with safety, quality, and 5S requirements.
