Job summary

ATLANTIC ENGINEERS M&E PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled welder/fabricator in Singapore to perform welding and fabrication work in accordance with drawings, specs, and site requirements.

You will cut, shape, fit, and assemble metal parts, inspect welds, operate welding equipment, and ensure safety compliance on site. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of welding experience, proficiency in ARC/MIG/TIG welding, and the ability to read basic fabrication drawings.

Qualifications

• ITI / vocational qualification in Welding or relevant trade.
• 2–5 years of welding experience preferred.
• Experience with ARC/MIG/TIG welding.
• Ability to read basic fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, and safety procedures.
• Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in workshop or construction-site conditions.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication work according to drawings, specifications, and site requirements.
• Cut, shape, fit, and assemble metal parts and structures.
• Inspect welded joints for strength, quality, and accuracy.
• Operate and maintain welding machines, cutting equipment, and hand tools.
• Prepare metal surfaces before welding and clean finished welds.
• Follow safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other workers to complete assigned jobs on schedule.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area.
