Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a detail‑oriented Quality Inspector to perform inspections on raw materials, components, and finished parts, read engineering drawings, and ensure conformance to standards. You will maintain inspection reports, document non-conformances, and support corrective actions with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires a Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Precision Engineering, experience in quality inspection is an advantage, with day or night

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on raw materials, components, manufactured parts and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Conduct incoming, in-process, first-piece, first-article and final inspections.
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure product conformity.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and work instructions.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records and non-conformance reports.
• Identify, document and report quality defects or discrepancies for corrective action.
• Verify relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established requirements.
• Work closely with internal departments, suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related issues when required.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and ensure compliance with workplace safety and quality procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
