Job summary

SGB Construction PTE. LTD. is seeking skilled tilers to join our on-site team in Singapore. You will cut, fit, and lay ceramic, granite and marble tiles, ensure precise alignment, and finish surfaces to a durable standard.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces, applying waterproofing as needed, matching blueprints, and working in non-climate-controlled outdoor conditions. A minimum of two years' experience and the ability to lift heavy materials are required.

Qualifications

• Min 2 years tiling experience.
• Willingness to work in outdoor, non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Cut tiles and shape to fit obstacles and corners.
• Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, cement, glue or mortar.
• Align and straighten tiles for even patterns.
• Install and finish granite and marble surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces with waterproofing materials as needed.
• Lay decorative mosaic designs in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms.
• Tamp tiles into place to ensure proper adhesion.
• Follow blueprints and measure surfaces for tiling work.
