LEADER ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking an experienced machinist to read engineering drawings and determine appropriate machining operations. You will plan the sequence of operations and set up a range of machine tools to produce precise components.

The role involves performing non-repetitive, precision machining such as gear cutting, turning, milling, drilling, grinding, and related operations while verifying tolerances with precision instruments.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables to determine machining operations.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts to determine machining operation to be performed, and plan best sequence of operations.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances and measure and lay out work pieces.
• Set up, operate and maintain a variety of machine tools including Conventional Machines tools
• To perform precision, non-repetitive machining operations such as Gear cutting (advantages), Optional if Turning, Milling, Boring, Planing, Drilling, Precision grinding and other operations
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments.
