Job summary

Nam Hoe Metal Industries in Singapore seeks a production operator to read technical drawings and prepare components for assembly. You will measure, align, and assemble parts, operate tools, wash parts when needed, and perform cable installation, leak testing, inspection and troubleshooting of dampers to ensure compliance with specifications.

You will respond to supervisor guidance, report safety hazards, carry out basic tool maintenance, and undertake ad-hoc tasks to support Operations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Select, measure and align parts or subassemblies for production.
• Operate power and hand tools, and other manufacturing equipment to assemble components.
• Wash manufactured parts, where required.
• Perform cable installation, leak testing, inspection and troubleshooting of dampers to ensure proper functionality and compliance with required specifications.
• Troubleshoot assembly issues and report malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Perform basic maintenance of tools and equipment to reduce downtime and prevent injury.
• Any ad-hoc tasks assigned by Operations Manager or Supervisor.
