Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an assembly technician to join our production team. You will assemble, test, and repair electrical and electro‑mechanical components, reading schematics and following detailed work instructions.

You will perform testing with various electronic instruments, identify defects, and support process improvements while maintaining safety and quality standards in a PPE-restricted environment.

Qualifications

• Min. Nitec / Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering or relevant field.
• Able to read and understand electrical schematics / circuit diagrams.
• Experience in electrical, electro-mechanical, semiconductor assembly or testing will be advantageous.
• Comfortable performing hands‑on assembly, testing and troubleshooting work.
• Able to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Comfortable working in a confined spaces, high/low spaces and full PPE environment

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies and components.
• Read and work with schematics, circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Perform testing using electronic measurement equipment, test fixtures, leak detectors and vacuum pumps.
• Identify defects, troubleshoot issues and correct assembly or testing errors.
• Inspect incoming parts and ensure all required components are available for production.
• Record production, testing and work-related information using computer systems.
• Support process improvements and assist with troubleshooting during testing.
• Follow all workplace safety, quality and operational procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment
