Job Scope – Preschool Teacher (EY2 Certified)

  • Curriculum Planning & Implementation
  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum frameworks
  • Create engaging learning materials and classroom setups
  • Observe and document children’s development to inform teaching
  • Apply effective classroom and behaviour management strategies
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Build strong relationships with families to support continuity of care
  • Coordinate and engage with families, volunteers, and community partners
  • Support the development of centre-wide family and community initiatives
  • Caregiving & Daily Routines
  • Conduct assessments and ensure quality of routine caregiving
  • Guide care practices according to SOPs and identify areas for improvement
  • Professional Development & Practice
  • Uphold centre values and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Stay updated with sector trends and suggest teaching improvements
  • Participate in initiatives to enhance service and teaching quality

Job Requirements

  • EY2 certification with an Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) or equivalent

  • Good interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills
