Job Title: Pre-Sales Specialist Data & AILocation: HyderabadExperience: 810 YearsDepartment: Sales / Data & AI PracticeReports To: Head of Data & AIAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Pre-Sales Specialist for Data & AI to support our sales and solutioning efforts. You will play a pivotal role in engaging with prospects and customers, understanding their business and technical challenges, and positioning our Data & AI offerings to drive value. This role requires a deep understanding of data platforms, cloud ecosystems, AI/ML concepts, and the ability to bridge business and technology.Key Responsibilities: Customer Engagement: Work closely with the sales team to engage customers in discovery sessions, understand their Data & AI maturity, and gather requirements. Translate customer challenges into high-level solution architectures leveraging our offerings. Solutioning and Proposal Support: Design end-to-end solutions across data engineering, BI, analytics, and AI/ML services on platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Create detailed technical proposals, solution blueprints, and RFP/RFI responses. Collaborate with delivery and product teams to scope out effort, timeline, and resource needs. Presentations and Demos: Deliver compelling presentations and product demos to CXOs, business users, and technical audiences. Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) and pilot implementations when required. Market and Tech Expertise: Stay updated on emerging trends in Data & AI (e.g., Generative AI, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Azure OpenAI). Be the voice of customer to provide inputs into solution enhancements, GTM strategy, and innovation roadmap. Collaboration and Enablement: Work cross-functionally with marketing, alliances, delivery, and product teams. Help build reusable assets such as pitch decks, industry-specific demos, and case studies.Required Skills and Experience: 810 years of total experience with at least 35 years in a Data & AI pre-sales or solution architect role. Strong understanding of data platforms, modern data stack (data lakes, data warehouses), AI/ML lifecycle, and cloud-native solutions. Hands-on exposure or working knowledge of platforms like: Microsoft Azure (Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Azure ML, OpenAI) AWS/GCP Data Services Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI/Tableau Ability to create solution architectures, cost models, and effort estimates. Excellent communication and storytelling skills to simplify complex technology for business leaders. Experience in verticals like Healthcare, BFSI, Retail, or Manufacturing is a plus. Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. MBA is a plus.Nice to Have: Certifications in Azure, AWS, or GCP related to Data/AI. Experience working with hyperscalers, ISVs, or as part of a partner ecosystem.
