Role: Pre-Sales Lead – Data Centre Business

Key Responsibilities

  1. Customer Needs Analysis:
    Conduct in-depth consultations with potential clients to understand their Data Centre power requirements, including capacity, redundancy, cooling needs, and budget constraints.
    Analyse site surveys and technical specifications to develop customized power system solutions.
  2. Solution Design and Proposal Development:
    Design comprehensive Data Centre power systems using relevant technologies like UPS, generators, power distribution units, and cooling systems.
    Create detailed technical proposals outlining the proposed solution, cost breakdown, and value proposition.
  3. Technical Presentations and Demonstrations:
    Deliver compelling presentations to showcase the capabilities of the Data Centre power systems to potential clients.
    Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) demonstrations to address specific customer concerns and validate the solution.
  4. Market Research and Competitive Analysis:
    Stay informed about emerging trends in Data Centre power systems, including new technologies and industry standards.
    Analyse competitors' offerings to identify strengths and weaknesses and position the company's solutions effectively.
  5. Sales Team Support:
    Collaborate closely with the sales team to qualify leads, identify potential opportunities, and provide technical expertise during the sales cycle.
    Participate in sales meetings and contribute to the overall sales strategy.
  6. Technical Expertise:
    Deep understanding of Data Centre power infrastructure, including electrical power distribution, UPS systems, cooling technologies, and power management software.
    Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations related to Data Centre power systems.
  7. Skillsets:
    Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs and design suitable power solutions.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a sales team.
    Proficiency in technical documentation and proposal writing.
    Knowledge of relevant software tools for system design and analysis.
  8. Supporting Role:
    Assist Marketing & Communication (Marcom) to translate Product and Solution Literatures into suitable language (Chinese to English).
    Support materials and information for Data Centre suitable for Marcom distribution.
  9. Software Skillsets:
    Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint)
    Microsoft Project or Primavera
    AutoCAD
    Adobe
