Job summary

The Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks an Application Engineer (Generators/Engines) to provide technical pre-sales support for standard and non-standard generator systems and power generation solutions. You will review RFQs, tender specifications and project requirements to assess feasibility.

You will conduct feasibility studies, propose solutions, review exhaust and fuel supply system requirements, and prepare project cost estimates, quotations and technical proposals.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or Diploma with 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in power generation, generators, engines or related M&E systems.
• Knowledge of exhaust and fuel supply systems and installation requirements.
• Experience in technical pre-sales, applications engineering, project feasibility, tendering or solution development.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and develop practical engineering solutions.
• Experience in cost estimation, quotations and technical proposals.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales support for generator systems and power generation solutions.
• Review RFQs, tender specs, and project requirements for feasibility.
• Conduct feasibility studies and propose suitable solutions based on customer needs.
• Review generator, exhaust and fuel supply requirements and support installation proposals.
• Conduct site surveys and engage with customers, distributors and stakeholders.
• Prepare project cost estimates, quotations and technical proposals including equipment and M&E works.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain and vendors to develop project solutions.
• Review non-standard generator/equipment requests and clarify technical needs.
• Provide timely technical support for pre-sales enquiries and tender submissions.
