Reporting to the Senior Director, Pre Sales and Solution Consulting, the Pre-Sales Consultant is a passionate and driven individual with a strong understanding of SaaS solutions and the commercial real estate sector. This high-impact role is key to the success of strategic accounts, working across pre-sales, sales, and marketing to deliver subject matter expertise and consultative support throughout the client journey.

As the bridge between sales, services, and technical teams, the Pre-Sales Consultant will provide valuable insights and tailored solutions to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and long-term retention. This role will also support the development of strategic account plans and play a key part in the success of the Altus Group Asia Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and technical support during the pre-sales process, tailored to client challenges and ROI.
  • Partner with sales teams to develop customized presentations, proposals, and solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert across Altus solutions, addressing technical queries and guiding buying decisions.
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities through upselling, cross-selling, and expanding into new markets.
  • Collaborate on strategic campaigns and account plans that drive client success and revenue expansion.
  • Act as the voice of the customer - communicating client feedback to internal teams to inform product and service improvements.
  • Track engagement and service delivery using customer success tools and CRM systems to ensure a consistent client experience.
  • Analyze customer data and feedback to identify trends, inform strategy, and report on client satisfaction, NPS, and retention.
  • Provide executive-level insights and support in meetings, positioning Altus as a trusted partner in client success.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitive shifts, and CRE innovations to ensure Altus solutions remain best-in-class.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, business, or a related field; certifications such as ARGUS or CCIM highly regarded.
  • 5+ years' experience in SaaS pre-sales, enterprise account management, or customer success, preferably in CRE tech.
  • Proven track record managing strategic accounts and exceeding sales and retention targets.
  • Strong understanding of commercial real estate workflows, valuation methodologies, and good understanding of the ARGUS / valuation process is an asset.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders with clear, consultative communication.
  • Advanced CRM experience (preferably Salesforce), with a data-driven approach to engagement and reporting.
  • Ability to synthesize technical concepts into business-focused solutions and client value.
  • Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Asian languages (especially Japanese or Korean) is a strong advantage.
