Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering invites applications for a Research Associate/Research Fellow in power systems to advance energy management, electricity markets, renewable energy, smart grids and microgrids. The role includes teaching support as required.

The candidate will conduct research, publish in journals, prepare seminars, and assist in labs and tutorials within a leading engineering school.

Qualifications

MSc/MEng (Research Associate) or PhD (Research Fellow) in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
Expertise in electrical power systems.
Experience in energy management, smart grids and microgrids.
Proficient in MATLAB, LabVIEW, or similar programming languages.
Experience in power systems simulation software such as MATLAB/Simulink or OPAL-RT.
Strong analytical and conceptual abilities.
Able to publish top quality conference/journal papers.
Good written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct research on power systems topics such as energy management, electricity markets, renewable energy, smart grids and microgrids.
Publish in top quality journals and conferences.
Prepare reports and present at seminars.
Assist teaching activities, including labs and tutorials.
