YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited is seeking a Technician/Technical Officer to operate a Combined Cycle Power Plant on a 12-hour rotating shift basis. You will monitor startup and shutdown of generation units, perform routine operations, and ensure safe, efficient plant performance.

Qualifikationen

• Nitec/ Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of plant processes, operations, and safety protocols.
• Experience in power plant operations is advantageous.
• 2nd Grade Engineer (Steam) or 1st Grade Engineer (Steam Combustion Engine) Certificate of Competency is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Maximo EAM or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; self-motivated and a team player.
• Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts.

Aufgaben

• Operate the Combined Cycle Power Plant safely and efficiently to meet output requirements.
• Prepare for, execute, and monitor startup, shutdown, and routine operations of generation units.
• Carry out condition monitoring and review operating parameters to optimize performance.
• Identify, report, and rectify equipment defects.
• Ensure adherence to the generation dispatch schedule and perform inspections.
• Respond to plant emergencies and equipment outages.
• Manage unit operations and maintenance with safety compliance.
• Inspect work areas, tools, and equipment to prevent unsafe conditions.
• Prepare daily shift log reports and other operational reports.
• Liaise with EMA PSO, PUB, NEA, SCDF on operational matters during shifts.
