The Cancer Science Institute of Singapore offers a Postdoctoral Fellowship for early-stage researchers aiming to establish independent careers. Awardees will develop their research in state-of-the-art facilities with competitive funding. Ideal candidates are soon-to-be PhD graduates with international training and a strong research track record.
The Cancer Science Institute of Singapore (CSI Singapore) Postdoctoral Fellowship seeks outstanding early-stage postdoctoral fellows who are interested to develop their career as independent, tenure-track faculty. The awardees will be hosted within established research labs at CSI Singapore to develop their independent research programs. They will receive a competitive base salary of up to SGD$93,000 per year (not including benefits such as CPF, bonus, medical, insurance) with an annual research grant of up to SGD$25,000 per year and equipment grant of SGD$5,000. Access to state-of-the-art core facilities will be provided. The fellowship funding period is up to three years.
Qualification
Open to all nationalities.
Soon-to-be PhD graduates or have graduated within four years from their respective PhD programs at the time of application. Exceptions may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Received at least two years of graduate training outside of Singapore (either overseas PhD training or postdoctoral training)
Work in any discipline of cancer research
Excellent track record of research accomplishments
Keen to embark on exciting and innovative projects in experimental and/or bioinformatics laboratories
Aspire to be leaders in biomedical research
Be available to take up position within 6 months of notice of award
Bi-annual review with two submission deadlines – 30th April and 31st October
