Job Description:
- Plan and oversee post-production for film and TV—manage budgets, staffing, and quality control across editing, color, sound, VFX, and final deliverables
- Manage asset workflow from dailies ingestion to footage distribution, ensuring proper storage, backups, and version control
- Create and maintain a detailed post-production schedule, track milestones, and coordinate material availability with internal, international, or outsourced teams
- Approve visuals and titles, coordinate cut reviews, supervise color grading and sound mixing, and liaise with labs to finalize deliverables
- Maintain post-production resources and documentation (software/licenses, hardware inventory, vendor contacts, archiving strategies)
- Coordinate delivery requirements for international or regional broadcasters, including subtitles/dubbing, censorship cuts, and delivery lists
- Communicate with production and finance teams on post-production expenses and budget performance, and manage payment coordination
- At project wrap-up, organize and hand over all post-production materials (project files, sessions, assets) to the company archive or shared asset management system
Requirements:
- Proven experience in post-production within the television or film industry
- Strong organizational and project management skills—able to create and maintain post-production schedules, track milestones, and juggle multiple deliverables
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities to coordinate cross-functional teams (editors, colorists, sound designers, VFX vendors, labs) and liaise effectively with producers and stakeholders
- Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for technical and creative detail to ensure final deliverables meet broadcast/theatrical standards
- Familiarity with industry-standard post-production workflows, software, and tools (e.g., Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Pro Tools, Frame.io/ShareFile)
- Ability to work independently and autonomously under tight deadlines, prioritizing tasks and adapting to shifting schedules
- Fluent in both spoken and written English and Chinese
