Job summary

NETS is seeking a passionate POS Terminal Tester to support the technology team in executing terminal testing. The successful candidate will enhance payment technology implementations used across Singapore. This role requires a degree in Computer Science and at least 3 years of fintech testing experience, emphasizing collaboration and problem-solving capabilities.

Qualifications

Position Summary

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and self-motivated POS Terminal Tester to join NETS Technology team.

The primary responsibilities include planning and execution of terminal testing and support as part of solution delivery. Success in this role demands good technical understanding of payment flow, meticulousness and the ability to identify and escalate impediments or risks that require attention to keep the project and delivery on track.

Our ideal candidate shall demonstrate good understanding and experience in payment terminal testing.

Responsibilities

• Able to develop and execute pre-defined test cases, from user requirement and technical specification to ensure coverage of testing

• Identify software issues when the result is not as expected outcome, document the steps and report the issues / bugs to QA Lead/ Developer.

• Document and capture test artefact and result for reporting and review.

• Proactive collaboration and lead to identify and escalating impediments or risks that require attention from senior leadership to keep the project on track.

• Perform other testing related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering or any related courses.

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience testing, ideally within the fintech or payment terminal industry.

• Good Microsoft Excel proficiency, including pivot tables, formulas, and charting to build and manage dashboards for progress tracking

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with strong analytical skills to synthesize information, issue and present status updates clearly and effectively to relevant team.

• Familiar and have working knowledge in using JIRA and Confluence.

• Self-starter, driven and adaptable individual that thrives in a dynamic & fast paced environment and ability to work as a team player or individual with little supervision.
