A Career in Long/Short Equities at Point72

What you’ll do

  • Build and manage a discretionary long/short equity portfolio
  • Conduct ongoing fundamental research to support differentiated investment ideas
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess investment opportunities
  • Train, lead and direct multiple research analysts and/or associate portfolio managers
  • Construct, continually reevaluate and dynamically adjust a scaled portfolio that optimizes risk-adjusted returns
  • Comply with all risk and operational limits and policies, as agreed upon with firm management
  • Understand and live Point72’s ethical decision-making approach and its compliance program

What’s Required

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience as a portfolio manager or sector head in L/S equity investing
  • Ability to demonstrate a defined and repeatable investment process with a compelling risk/reward profile
  • Evidence that said process has led to favorable outcomes over time
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards
