Job description

OVERVIEW

Our client is a multi-family office for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, that support each family's asset management with a high degree of customization. They are looking for a Japanese speaking portfolio manager.

Responsibilities

• Support for the execution of portfolio and investment proposals, explanations, and management for Japan high-net-worth clients

• Portfolio management and coordination with existing portfolio managers to develop and execute investment strategies

• Develop and review allocation strategies in line with customer-specific operational objectives

• Multi-asset management practices such as funds, bonds, equities, hedge funds, alternatives, etc.

• Regular reporting and presentation of portfolios

• Operational support incidental to operations, such as client onboarding, KYC, and account opening.

• Practical cooperation and negotiations with overseas financial institutions (PB, Custodian, etc.)

Eligibility (required)

• Work experience in asset management (3 years or more)

• Experience in fund management

• Conversational, reading and writing skills in business English and professional working proficiency in Japanese in order to liaise with internal and external stakeholders

• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, CRM tools, etc.

• Strong multitasking and practical ability

• Customer-oriented and team collaboration

Preferred skills

• Experience working in a family office/high-net-worth business

• Experience using operational analysis tools such as Bloomberg, FactSet, and Morningstar

• CFA / CPA / CFP / CMA /CACS/CMFAS
