Job description

We are recruiting for a Portfolio Manager role for a fund that pursues long-term capital appreciation by making investments primarily in securities issued by early-stage business.

The Portfolio Manager will take the leading role in fund raising, conducting research and executing the strategies.

Given the nature of the strategies covered, the role requires a strong analytical background, knowledge of early-stage businesses and familiarity with investment structuring.

Role-Specific Accountabilities

  • Portfolio management skills are a must.
  • Conduct the day-to-day monitoring of the portfolio and executed strategy.
  • Evaluate key exposures and risk factors of investments.
  • Work on research projects.
  • Communicate with existing and new investors on a regular basis.
  • Participate in fund raising events.

Qualifications

  • Preference for candidates with investment experience and master’s degrees in economics, Finance, Math and Accounting
  • Strong research, analytical and statistical skills
  • Experienced in providing Investment advice
  • Experienced in project audits
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Professionalism and integrity
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English
