Job summary

Pasona Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a skilled investment portfolio professional to monitor and strengthen portfolio performance, while engaging with third-party asset managers for optimal outcomes. You will analyze markets, support strategy, and coordinate with cross-border teams and headquarters.

The role requires strong financial modelling, risk management, and experience in real estate finance, with a collaborative, fast-paced multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in real estate portfolio management or related sector.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and strengthen portfolio performance with regular reviews against budgets.
• Engage with third-party asset managers for optimal outcomes.
• Monitor markets and support investment strategy with analysis.
• Coordinate with lawyers, tax advisors, agents and appraisers on ad-hoc issues.
• Manage and document multi-national region transactions.
• Collaborate with local staff and investment teams, incl. back/mid office.
• Liaise with Headquarters’ relevant departments.

Job description

• Salary: up to $5,500 (Depending on experiences)

Job Description

• Monitor and help strengthen the performance of the overall portfolio and specific investments, including regular review and reporting of performance against underwriting and budget.
• Communicate and engage with third-party asset managers for the best outcome for the executed investment.
• Monitor markets to identify and assess industry trends and assist in preparation of research and analysis to support investment strategy.
• Discussion with professionals such as lawyer, tax advisor, real estate agent, appraiser etc. to find a solution for ad-hoc issue.
• Manage documentation which is executed in multi-national regions.
• Managing and collaborating with local hired staffs (including middle and back office and investment team).
• Close liaison with Headquarters’ relevant department.
• Ad-hoc task that may be assigned.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Real Estate, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in real estate portfolio management, risk management, structured finance or related financial sectors in similar capacity.

Role Specific Skills (Technical Competencies)

• Strong understanding of real estate financial modelling and returns (via excel)
• Capital markets and financing/treasury knowledge
• Possess analytical, project management skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. excel, powerpoint)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written)
• Presentation skills and stakeholder management capabilities
• Logical thinking skills

Japanese proficiency would be an advantage for communication with Japan HQ (Not a must)
