SimplifyNext, a Singapore-headquartered digital engineering firm, seeks a Senior Portfolio Director to oversee a portfolio of client accounts and transformation initiatives across APAC. You will lead delivery, sales, and innovation, guiding senior stakeholders and internal teams to drive business value.

In this client-facing leadership role, you will shape opportunities, ensure outcomes, and grow partnerships while staying ahead in AI, automation, and low-code.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration, or related field.
• 12+ years in consulting/technology with at least 5 years in portfolio or client leadership.
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts/projects and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong business development with a track record in growing client accounts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management, including C-suite engagement.
• Leadership to inspire and grow diverse teams.
• Deep knowledge of automation, low-code, and AI technologies and how to position them for clients.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts and transformation programs.
• Act as the senior point of contact for C-level stakeholders.
• Drive portfolio growth by identifying opportunities for account expansion and follow‑on engagements.

As a Portfolio Director, you will oversee a portfolio of client accounts and transformation initiatives, ensuring that projects and programs deliver business value and align with both client and SimplifyNext’s strategic objectives.

You will provide leadership across delivery, sales, and innovation, while managing senior client stakeholders and guiding internal teams. Beyond execution, you will take responsibility for portfolio-level growth - shaping opportunities, identifying new value streams, and strengthening long‑term partnerships.

This is a senior, client‑facing leadership role that blends consulting, delivery, and business development.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Own and manage a portfolio of client accounts and transformation programs.

Delivery & Governance

• Oversee multiple project streams within the portfolio, ensuring they deliver on‑time, on‑budget, and within scope.
• Provide strategic oversight and governance, including portfolio risk management, resource allocation, and benefits realization.
• Guide senior project managers and solution leads, ensuring alignment with best practices and client expectations.
• Establish portfolio‑level reporting and communicate performance metrics to leadership and clients.
• Mentor and coach project managers, consultants, and technical leads.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and delivery excellence.
• Contribute to shaping SimplifyNext’s Technology practice, bringing in new ideas, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Stay ahead of market trends in AI, automation, and digital transformation, and translate them into client‑ready strategies.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Strong business development experience, with a track record in winning and growing client accounts.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills – including C‑suite engagement.
• Strong leadership with the ability to inspire, guide, and grow diverse teams.
• Deep knowledge of automation, low‑code, and AI technologies, with the ability to position them strategically for clients.
