Port Operations Supervisor

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and detail-driven Port Operations Supervisor to oversee the handling and discharge of construction aggregates such as sand and stones at our port facilities. This role ensures smooth operations for incoming and outgoing vessels and barges. We'd love to hear from you if you thrive in fast-paced logistics environments and have strong coordination skills.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Plan and allocate manpower and machinery to ensure efficient unloading of aggregates from barges and vessels.
• Monitor daily port activities, including vessel arrivals and departures.
• Serve as the main point of contact with port authorities, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
• Prepare and submit daily operational reports related to vessel and barge activities.
• Manage warehouse stock levels to ensure a consistent supply of materials for delivery.
• Coordinate with truck dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of aggregates to customers.
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and ensure all operations adhere to safety standards.
• Ensure all equipment is well-maintained and ready for deployment.
• Be prepared to work irregular hours, including weekends, as port operations are conducted around the clock.
• Occasionally support or oversee related work at external sites when required.

What We’re Looking For:

• Relevant experience in logistics coordination or port/site operations, construction background is welcome too.
• Strong multitasking and planning abilities.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office tools for reporting and coordination.
• A reliable team player with a solution-oriented mindset.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license in Singapore (a company van will be provided for work purposes).
