Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day-to-day company launch boat operations.
• Responsible for the ferrying of company staffs; technical and marine superintendents, company authorized shore contractors/engineers/surveyors/inspectors and vessels crews/spares as required.
• Responsible for being in compliance with all MPA and statutory regulations at all times.
• Responsible in carrying out monthly MPA Craft Inspection Checklist to ensure that boat is in good upkeep of inventory and condition. Ensuring boat is ready for MPA boat inspection when required for.
• Responsible for being in compliance with company safety guidelines and procedures.
• Responsible in the daily upkeep of records in the respective launch boat logbooks, vouchers and boat stores inventory.
• Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the boat interior and exterior.
• Responsible in carrying out boat basic engines maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of the engines and any boat defects.
• Any other responsibilities as instructed by Management.

Requirements

• Possess a valid MPA Steersman (Port Limit) Certificate.
• Good written and speaking of English language.
• Good team player and shows a sense of pro-activeness.
• Well oriented, organized and punctual.
• 2 years of experience operating single engine launch boat.
• Physically and mentally fit and approved pass eyesight test.
• Must follow company work schedule arrangement strictly.
• Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays as needed and required.
