Job summary

Synapxe seeks a final-year diploma student for an internship in Procurement Process Automation and Business Transformation in Singapore. You will analyze RFP/RFQ workflows, gather stakeholder feedback, and explore automation opportunities within Singapore's public healthcare infrastructure.

You will gain hands-on experience in process improvement, automation, and digital transformation, while developing skills in data analysis, AI tools, and low-code platforms.

Qualifications

• Final-year diploma student pursuing IT, BIS, data analytics, AI & data engineering or related disciplines.
• Interest in process improvement, automation, AI, or digital transformation.
• Basic knowledge of process mapping, data analysis, or workflow improvement concepts.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exposure to automation, low-code platforms, AI tools, or analytics software is advantageous.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Curious, proactive, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Map and analyse existing RFP and RFQ workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders involved in procurement and sourcing activities.
• Analyse operational and procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for automation.
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements, including supporting cost-benefit analysis and implementation planning.
• Explore the use of AI, automation tools, and low-code platforms to streamline procurement-related processes.
• Prepare presentations, reports, and progress updates for stakeholders and project reviews.

Gain hands-on experience in business process improvement, automation, and digital transformation within Singapore's public healthcare infrastructure environment. You will analyse procurement workflows, identify efficiency opportunities, and develop recommendations to improve Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes.

The selected intern(s) will assist in the following:

About You:

Final-year diploma student pursuing Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Data Analytics, AI & Data Engineering, or related disciplines

Interest in process improvement, automation, AI, or digital transformation

Basic knowledge of process mapping, data analysis, or workflow improvement concepts

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Exposure to automation, low-code platforms, AI tools, or analytics software is advantageous

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Curious, proactive, and willing to learn

Key deliverables include process improvement recommendations, pilot automation tools, and phased implementation roadmaps. Candidates should have basic knowledge of AI/ML, data analysis, process mapping, and automation platforms
