Job summary

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification.
• Strong interest in public policy, urban mobility and transport-related issues.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to work with quantitative evidence and data to support policy development.
• Good writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work independently, manage multiple workstreams and collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools (Excel, Python, R, Stata, Power BI, Tableau) will be an advantage.
• Candidates with more relevant working experience may be considered for senior positions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review policies relating to vehicle ownership and usage, including the COE system, vehicle taxes, road charging and other measures.
• Conduct quantitative and policy analyses to understand travel patterns and trends.
• Design policy interventions leveraging digital technologies and data to encourage sustainable travel choices.
• Monitor developments in transport, technology and mobility services and assess their policy implications.
• Develop policy recommendations and implementation strategies supported by analysis and stakeholder engagement.
• Prepare policy papers and briefing materials to support senior management decisions.
• Work with Government agencies, industry partners, academia and the community to implement policy initiatives.
• Support strategic studies and cross-functional projects for long-term mobility goals.
