Job summary

The Singapore Food Agency’s mission is to ensure a continuous supply of safe food. The successful candidate will join the Food Business Department to develop frameworks for operationalising Part 4 of the Food Safety and Security Act (FSSA) for authorisation of licensable food businesses, including farms, non-retail and retail operations.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the framework for operationalisation of FSSA Part 4.
• Review licensing requirements and formulate new authorisation requirements.
• Draft policy submissions and instructions for the subsidiary legislation.
• Collaborate with relevant divisions and government agencies to translate policy into regulatory requirements.
