Job summary

The Singapore Food Agency invites applications for a policy/regulatory role focused on operationalising Part 4 of the FSSA. You will formulate licensable food business frameworks and work with internal divisions and external agencies to translate policy into implementable regulations.

We seek candidates with at least 2 years in policy development, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication to drive multi-stakeholder projects across regulatory domains.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in policy/operational policy development and regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams and translate inputs into frameworks.
• Meticulous, detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
• Strong project management skills to handle multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Formulate the framework for operationalisation of FSSA Part 4 for licensable food businesses.
• Review licensing requirements and conditions; draft and harmonise authorisation requirements and licence conditions.
• Collaborate with SFA divisions and subject matter experts to translate policy into operation frameworks and regulatory needs.
• Draft and facilitate policy submissions, and draft instructions for legislation; coordinate with AGC on legal text.
• Engage with other government agencies to translate policy positions into implementable regulations.
• Develop stakeholder engagement materials and engagement plans as required.
• Support related FSSA subsidiary legislation authorisation frameworks.
