A leading global insurer is seeking a Policy Operations Assistant to support both international and local insurance program administration. The role involves accurate processing of premium entries, client and broker relations, and team collaboration. Policy Operations Assistant
We are looking for someone who responsible for maintaining the records in the Insurance Information Platforms, Policy Administration, attending to client and broker relations and other administrative tasks.
Job Description
Administration of International Programmes as a Service Office
Process and capturing of International Programmes premium entries accurately onto the GERAS Insurance System.
AML/ sanction screening check
Maintenance of renewal register (manual).
Issue IP Policies within 30 days after receiving full instructions
Issuance of International Programmes certificates as required for specific lines of business
Issue endorsements and process relevant premiums for International Programmes Business.
Assist Finance department in Credit Control reconciliation and follow up actions.
Manage the Policy operations electronic filing systems
Assist with the creation of applicable codes (partner code) for coda processing
Administration of Local Business Portfolio
Process and enter premium entries accurately onto the Insurance System.
Issue premium certificates as required for specific lines of business.
Assist Finance department in Credit Control reconciliation and follow up actions.
Manage the Policy Operations Electronic and Paper filing systems and identify areas for improvement.
Assist with the lapsed files archive system.
Ensure all files contain the necessary premium worksheets and all other appropriate documents for accurate data capture.
Preparation of request form and coordinate with Finance for creation of new client accounts
Other duties as required from time to time.
Actively send reminders to brokers/clients on outstanding Premium Closing
Maintain an updated and complete record on Operations Tracking Report
Support the finance department on documentation and record requests
Key Competencies Requirement
Has excellent communication skills
Has appropriate formal qualifications
Prior experience working in policy operations or a policy processing role within the General Insurance Industry
Has a minimum of 2 years insurance experience
Highly motivated individual and ability to work in a fast pace working environment
