Job summary

A leading healthcare provider in Singapore is seeking a qualified Podiatrist to diagnose and manage conditions related to the foot and lower limbs. The role involves conducting assessments, performing minor surgical procedures, and training junior staff. Ideal candidates will hold a degree in Podiatry and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in managing podiatric conditions including sports injuries and diabetic foot care.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to supervise junior Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants.

Job description

  • Assess, diagnose, and manage conditions related to the foot, ankle, and lower limbs.

  • Perform biomechanical assessments and gait analyses to identify and address abnormalities.

  • Conduct minor surgical procedures, including nail avulsion procedures and wart removal, when required.

  • Treat a wide range of patients ranging from low-risk foot conditions to high-risk foot conditions.

  • For supervisors: Supervise and train junior Podiatrists and Therapy Assistants, while overseeing the operation of Podiatry Department.

  • Any other reasonable ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Podiatry from a recognized institution.

  • Proven experience in managing a range of podiatric conditions, including sports injuries, diabetic foot care, and pediatric concerns.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
