Job summary

A progressive company in marine engineering is looking for an innovative individual to develop green marine solutions aimed at reducing carbon footprints. The role involves hands-on responsibilities including setting up laboratories and developing PLC software for electrical propulsion systems. Candidates with knowledge in Eplan, power electronics, and marine propulsion systems will be highly regarded.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Eplan.
• Knowledge in power electronics and motor drives preferred.

Why Us?

• Monday to Friday; 8.30am - 6pm
• Working Location: Penjuru (Company transport provided)

The Role:

• Develop green marine solutions that reduces marine carbon footprint, in line with company business objectives.
• Hands on in setting up of test lab to enable development and testing.
• Perform PLC software and algorithm development for electrical propulsion solutions.
• Generate documentation of software architecture and logic flow, test procedures, quality control and any other necessary supporting documents.
• Participate and support commissioning of vessels with similar configurations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to our delivered solutions that may arise during the vessel commissioning.
• Any other tasks as may be required by supervisor.

Requirement

• Familiar with Eplan
• Knowledge in power electronics, motor drives, marine propulsion systems is a plus
