Job Description
Company business is in the area of Software Development for Process Control Automation and Motion Control, IT and Analytics.
If you want to learn how to build control systems for Process Plants, this is the job for you. Training will be provided.
Skill Sets we are looking for:
- CONTROL ALGORITHMS for Flow, Pressure, Movement Controls etc. Process Controls using PID, Sequential State Machine, and Logic Equations using leading makes of IEC1131 PLC like Schneider’s, Siemens, Allen Bradley, OMRON, GE Fanuc, etc.
- USER INTERFACES - using off-the-shelf Graphics Software SCADA Packages.
- ELECTRICAL & DESIGN – Design of Electrical Power Controls for VSD, DOL Electrical Motors, Relay Logic Design for hardwired Panels.
- INSTRUMENTATION – Understand how to apply instrumentation like Flow, Pressure, and Temperature sensors from various manufacturers.
Note: The job is Mon-Fri, but as project engineers, you are required to learn, work hard to complete job assignments, and work overtime as part of the job. If you are seeking easy hours for part-time study or work-life balance, then this is not the job.
Required Skills
Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering with a major in software programming or Computer Science with an inclination for industrial software and databases.
- Preferred experience with leading brands of PLC such as Schneider, Siemens, Omron, Wago, Mitsubishi, and IEC1131 language.
- Preferred experience with SCADA software like Ignition, Wonderware, Citect, iFix, WinCC, PCS7, Cimplicity, but strong interest in graphics software is also acceptable.
- Candidate should be fluent in programming languages, with at least an intermediate level of programming skills. Skills in VB, C, C++, Java, C# are a plus.
- Knowledge of electrical circuit design, from basic Ohm's law to electrical starters, DOL, VSD, and electrical power distribution.
- Experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided to develop an all-round skill set for independent work.
- Candidates intending to pursue further studies within a year or doing part-time studies should not apply, as this role requires on-the-job learning.
- The ideal candidate must be able to work independently, be proactive, manage projects with minimal supervision, and interact with customers technically and commercially. Long-term career growth with the company is envisioned.
- This is a project-oriented role requiring continuous learning and hard work. It is not suitable for individuals with other private commitments such as part-time studies, part-time work, or side businesses.
