Job summary

Playeum Ltd is looking for a part-time facilitator in Singapore to support the coordination and delivery of programmes for children and families. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring quality implementation, assisting with documentation and evaluation.

The ideal candidate will have a background in art, play, or child development, and experience in facilitating programmes with children. This role requires on-site presence, working on a project basis during weekdays and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 months of work experience in programme facilitation involving children or families.
  • Volunteer or work experience in informal learning or community work.
  • Passion for co-creating with children and families in playful ways.

Responsibilities

  • Support the coordination and delivery of Playeum’s programmes.
  • Facilitate logistical setup and teardown of programmes.
  • Attend pre-programme briefings and post-programme debriefs.

Job description

This role supports the coordination and delivery of Playeum’s programmes for children and/or families. You will be part of a team that works together to ensure quality implementation, in addition to supporting the documentation and impact evaluation of our programmes.

This part-time role sits within the Programmes Team at Playeum.

Support the facilitation of Playeum’s programmes including logistical setup, implementation of play experiences, and timely teardown.

Attend pre-programme briefings and post-programme debriefs; share concerns from the ground.

Uphold Playeum’s child safeguarding practices and guidelines

Supporting Documentation & Impact Evaluation

Support project documentation for impact assessment, including observations and surveys.

Preferred Qualifications

Playmaker qualities we are looking for: Abilities and passion to listen to children’s voices and to co-create with children and families in playful ways.

Educational background and/or work experience related to art, play, inclusion, education, and/or child development is preferred.

Volunteer or work experience in informal learning, community work or socially engaged arts practice.

Strong communication and facilitation skills when working with children, adults, and/or families.

Minimum 6 months of work experience in programme facilitation involving children or families

Must be based in Singapore and able to work in person (this is not a remote role).

Deployment will be on a project basis and will involve either weekdays and/or weekends, when required.
