Job summary

Happy Hour Games Pte Ltd is seeking a Game Developer (Playable Ads) to craft engaging, interactive playable ads for our UA campaigns. You will transform game concepts into lightweight experiences, iterating based on campaign performance to boost engagement, conversions, and downloads.

You will collaborate with Marketing to refine mechanics, optimize for speed and file size, and explore AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and/or HTML5.
• Hands-on experience with Cocos Creator or similar game engines.
• Experience developing game mechanics, gameplay logic, or interactive experiences.
• Good understanding of animation, UI interactions, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.
• Passion for mobile games and game development especially puzzle games.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and iterate on playable advertising creatives for mobile games.
• Turn creative concepts and game ideas into engaging interactive experiences, including prototyping new mechanics and gameplay variations.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to improve playable performance based on campaign results and A/B testing.
• Optimize playables for performance, loading speed, and file size across mobile platforms.
• Explore new tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve the speed and efficiency of playable development.
