Job summary

Happy Hour Games Pte Ltd seeks a Playable Ads Developer to craft engaging, lightweight playable ads for mobile UA campaigns. You will turn game concepts into interactive experiences, iterating based on performance to boost engagement, conversions, and downloads.

You will collaborate with the Marketing team to prototype new mechanics, optimize for speed and file size, and explore AI-assisted workflows to accelerate development. 2+ years of experience and a CS/ENG degree are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Software Eng or related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and/or HTML5.
• Hands-on experience with Cocos Creator or similar game engines.

Job description

We are looking for a Playable Ads Developer to create engaging, interactive playable ads that drive performance across our user acquisition (UA) campaigns. You will work closely with our Marketing team to turn game concepts into lightweight playable experiences, continuously iterating based on campaign performance to improve engagement, conversion, and downloads.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, test, and iterate on playable advertising creatives for mobile games.
• Turn creative concepts and game ideas into engaging interactive experiences, including prototyping new mechanics and gameplay variations.
• Work closely with the Marketing team to improve playable performance based on campaign results and A/B testing.
• Optimize playables for performance, loading speed, and file size across mobile platforms.
• Explore new tools and AI-assisted workflows to improve the speed and efficiency of playable development.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript and/or HTML5.
• Hands-on experience with Cocos Creator or similar game engines.
• Experience developing game mechanics, gameplay logic, or interactive experiences.
• Good understanding of animation, UI interactions, and performance optimization.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to rapidly prototype and iterate.
• Passion for mobile games and game development especially puzzle games.
