Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Singapore is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to oversee the maintenance schedule for plating equipment and perform installations. The ideal candidate should hold a Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and possess over three years of experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, general electrical works, and liaising with vendors. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to work independently. Shift work with a 12-hour rotation is required.

Qualifications

• More than 3 years of working experience in maintenance environment.
• Able to read electrical drawing and Autocad experience.
• Willing to overtime when required.

Job description

Main Duties And Responsibilities To Be Accomplished

• Organize the maintenance schedule for all equipment in Plating
• Carry out installation and modification of machines and equipment
• Carry out all general maintenance work on plating line equipment, ie motor, pump rectifier etc.
• Carry out general electrical works, repairs, troubleshooting and maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Liaise with vendor to do repair on equipment or process, cleanness
• Purchase component and spare part related to electrical and control item to minimize the cost
• Daily / periodic check, record and feedback all plating equipment for continuous operation
• Support DI/waste treatment operation

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical
• More than 3 years of working experience in maintenance environment
• Able to read electrical drawing and Autocad experience
• Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
• Able to communicate effective
• Willing to overtime when required

Working hours

Shift work,2 shifts, 12 hours rotation (4 days work week)
