PhysicsX is seeking a Platform Support Engineer to be the first technical responder for enterprise customers and internal users. You’ll own the path from intake to resolution, triaging issues and escalating to Product, SRE, FDSE, or Deployment Engineering as needed.

This hybrid role is based in New York City with three days onsite per week, focusing on building a repeatable front door into PhysicsX’s platform.

• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders during incidents.
• Strong triage and escalation judgement to distinguish defects from deployment issues.
• Working Kubernetes familiarity: diagnosing pod issues and knowing when to hand over.
• GitOps mindset: PR-based changes and environment promotion.

• Triage incoming issues, classify severity, and perform first-pass investigation across product, platform, infrastructure and customer environment.
• Resolve what you can; when not possible, provide logs, timeline, and recommended next steps.
• Work within a structured incident process: response targets, handovers, and post-mortems.
