Job summary

USER EXPERIENCE RESEARCHERS PTE. LTD. is seeking a cybersecurity operations specialist to manage firewall, EDR, DMS, and PAM platforms across multiple sites in Singapore.

You will perform preventive maintenance, security reviews, and incident response, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure compliance with policies. The role emphasizes on-site maintenance and continuous monitoring to counter evolving threats.

Responsibilities

• Perform quarterly preventive maintenance of onsite perimeter firewalls, including health checks, patching, firmware updates and diagnostics.
• Conduct quarterly log and account reviews to detect anomalies and ensure cybersecurity policy compliance.
• Perform patching and mitigations based on patch management timelines.
• Annual firewall configuration and rules reviews; annual hardware/software inventories; periodic security reviews as required.
• Ad-hoc onsite maintenance including graceful shutdowns and replacement of faulty devices such as Ethernet cables.
• Configuration services for perimeter firewalls: signature updates, CVE patching, log backup extraction, rule configuration.
• Assist during cybersecurity assessments and audits related to firewall infrastructure.
• Ensure firewall rules and configurations comply with cybersecurity policies throughout the contract.
• Raise change requests according to Change Management for maintenance and system changes.
• Maintain and operate EDR servers: OS, database, application, backup, health checks, patching, service maintenance.
• Monitor and troubleshoot EDR services, databases, log forwarding, and logs; review system, security and audit logs.
• Monitor endpoint sensor health, connectivity and deployment; troubleshoot sensors and support redeployment.
• Support onboarding of new endpoints, validate sensor records against inventories, coordinate with OEM for advanced troubleshooting.
• Serve as the first point of contact for DMS-related enquiries; perform monthly access and log reviews; manage onboarding/offboarding of websites.
• Update and maintain DMS documentation, templates and configurations; manage maintenance and warranty tracking for DMS components.
• Process service and change requests including security policy changes, log extraction and alert updates.
• Manage SSL certificate renewals and update maintenance pages as required.
• Review and optimize DMS rules and notifications with vendor and security stakeholders.
• Continuous monitoring of DMS to ensure effectiveness against evolving threats; update BIA and privileged password expiry records.
• Serve as the first point of contact for PAM-related enquiries; support investigation and incident response; perform monthly access reviews; manage onboarding/offboarding of privileged accounts.
• Process service requests related to privileged account management; update BIA annually and manage privileged password expiry.
• Ensure all platforms comply with cybersecurity policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Follow instructions issued by authorities and the organization; protect data across all platforms from leakage, loss, destruction and falsification.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure restricted information is not disclosed.
