Job summary

NEWTONE SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Platform Infrastructure Lead to head the operations of enterprise container platforms and shared infrastructure services in Singapore.

You will manage a team responsible for ensuring the availability, security, and performance of Kubernetes platforms, middleware, and enterprise COTS applications supporting mission-critical systems. You will drive platform upgrades, automation, and incident response, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of platform engineering or middleware operations experience.
• Experience leading a team of infrastructure engineers.
• Hands-on Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Linux admin, and OS hardening.
• Experience with enterprise COTS platforms (MongoDB, MSSQL, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ).
• Networking, firewalls, load balancers, monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, eG Enterprise).
• Experience with CI/CD, automation (Ansible, scripting), and modern platform operations.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience in government or regulated environments is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 4–6 infrastructure engineers supporting container platforms and platform services.
• Manage platform operations, incident response, problem management, change implementation, and lifecycle activities.
• Deploy, configure, and support Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and enterprise COTS products including MongoDB, MSSQL, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ, MQTT, Kafka, and ArcGIS.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and integration teams to resolve platform issues and support new services.
• Ensure platform monitoring, logging, documentation, and operational runbooks are maintained.
• Drive platform upgrades, patching, OS hardening, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
• Lead Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Continuity (BCP), and operational readiness activities.
• Promote automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the platform environment.

• Strong hands‑on expertise withKubernetes,Docker/Podman, Linux administration, and OS hardening.
• Experience managing enterprise COTS platforms includingMongoDB, MSSQL, NGINX, Apache, IBM MQ, and messaging technologies.
• Good understanding of networking, firewalls, load balancers, monitoring, and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, eG Enterprise).
• Experience withCI/CD, automation (Ansible, scripting), and modern platform operations.
• Strong leadership, troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Experience working in government or other highly regulated environments is highly desirable.
