Job summary

MINDTECK SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced Platform Infrastructure Lead to manage and operate enterprise container platforms and COTS components in a tenant environment above the hypervisor layer, ensuring reliability, security, and operational excellence.

You will lead a team of infrastructure engineers, drive continuous improvements, and collaborate with application and AFE teams to support deployments and issue resolution across mission-critical systems in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related field.
• 7–10 years in infrastructure or platform operations.
• Proven experience managing enterprise Kubernetes or container platforms.
• Hands-on with Docker and Podman.
• Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise COTS software (MongoDB, MSSQL, Nginx, Apache, IBM MQ, MQTT, ArcGIS).
• Experience with enterprise messaging (IBM MQ, MQTT) and monitoring/observability tools.
• Strong Linux administration, security hardening, and networking fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Platform Operations team for container platforms and COTS services.
• Ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance of platform services.
• Manage incidents, service requests, changes, problems, and RCA.
• Install, configure, administer, and troubleshoot COTS components (MongoDB, MSSQL, Nginx, Apache, IBM MQ, MQTT, ArcGIS).
• Collaborate with Application and AFE teams for integrations and deployments.
• Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and platform architecture docs.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Plan patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, lifecycle management.
• Ensure OS security hardening and golden image compliance.
• Capacity planning, performance tuning, and resource optimization.
• Lead DR and BCP activities with regular tests.
• Drive automation and best practices; mentor engineers.
• Mentor a team of 4–6 infrastructure engineers; foster excellence.
