Job summary

Squarepoint Services Singapore Pte. Ltd. is hiring a Platform Specialist to join our PLC team. You will architect, develop, and optimize compute platforms for data-intensive workloads, focusing on automation, performance, and developer enablement.

The role requires deep Linux administration, automation, and cloud skills, with collaboration across global teams and a hands-on engineering focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience building scalable compute platforms and automation pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve scalable compute platforms using modern infrastructure engineering practices.
• Design and implement automation frameworks for provisioning, configuration management, and lifecycle operations.
• Develop internal tooling and APIs to abstract infrastructure complexity and improve productivity.
• Take part in bulk server provisioning with remote hands when needed.
• Drive observability by building and integrating telemetry pipelines (metrics, logs, traces).
• Collaborate with software engineering to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of infra.
• Mentor junior engineers and share best practices.
• Participate in on-call, incident response and postmortems, driving long-term improvements through automation and architecture changes.
