About the Company
My client is a rapidly growing global investment manager. They are looking for a hardware and software expert to join their capable team and build highly scalable and robust computing and storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administering large-scale compute environments and optimizing multi-petabyte storage distributed storage systems.
• Automating infrastructure management through standardized tools and practices.
• Enhancing system observability through monitoring, alerting, and performance tuning.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align infrastructure goals with business priorities.
• Troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues across the technology stack.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong focus on Linux systems.
• Hands-on expertise with configuration management tools like Chef or Ansible and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
• Familiarity with distributed storage technologies and protocols such as NFS, GPFS, or WEKA.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, Go, or Rust.
• Solid understanding of modern development workflows including version control and CI/CD.
• Experience with observability tools like ELK stack, Datadog, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• A proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
