Job summary

Clera is seeking a Platform Engineer to own production cloud infra for a high-availability, AI-focused platform in Singapore. You’ll lead uptime, latency, and cost, while shaping scalable backend systems and robust CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years owning production cloud infrastructure for high-availability platforms.
• AI-specific infrastructure experience required, not just general DevOps.
• Hands-on AWS and containerized systems experience: Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, EC2, networking, load balancers, secrets.

Responsibilities

• Own production uptime, latency, provisioning speed, infra cost, and incident response for core platform services.
• Build and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes/EKS, Helm, Docker, EC2, CodeBuild, ECR, S3, IAM, networking, and secrets management.
• Design and improve backend and platform systems for scale: capacity planning, autoscaling, queues, backpressure, retries, and rollback paths.
• Define and improve dashboards, alerts, logs, traces, SLOs, runbooks, and on-call workflows for rapid issue resolution.
• Build reliable CI/CD pipelines, release automation, environment management, and deployment workflows.
• Write clean production code to automate systems and create internal developer tooling.
