Job summary

NCS Group is seeking a Technical Architect (Platform Architect) to lead the design, governance, and technical integrity of enterprise data platforms supporting Singapore Government digital services.

You will drive secure, scalable cloud and hybrid data platforms, translating architecture into actionable guidance, and mentoring engineers across teams to ensure reliability, performance, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years in platform architecture, infrastructure engineering, or data engineering roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure and modern data platforms.
• Experience in government or highly regulated environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, IAM, data services, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Leadership to bridge architecture intent with real-world engineering execution.

Responsibilities

• Design and govern enterprise data platform architectures across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Define platform standards, reference architectures, and reusable components aligned to accreditation needs.
• Provide technical leadership on builds, migrations, and optimisations; ensure security-by-design.
