Planon Functional Consultant
Location: Hybrid, Singapore
Position Summary:
The Consultant I aligns with business and IT stakeholders to translate business issues and requirements into best-practice processes, blueprints, and functional specifications. This role is responsible for working on complex challenges, utilizing and developing technical skills, and contributing to both client and internal projects. During the software configuration and implementation, the Consultant I is responsible for securing the quality of deliverables and effectiveness of communication between the implementation teams (Configuration, interfacing, data mapping/conversion, etc
Responsibilities:
Assessment of the current Facility workspace and maintenance management processes
Facilitation/documentation of system design workshops and process reengineering workshops
Creation of project and system documentation, including process maps, system requirements, data standards, and training materials
Take an active role in system demonstrations with guidance from Senior Consultants
Consulting/educating clients on best practices
Oversight of the development, testing, and deployment of technical solutions
Identifying and tracking issues related to project delivery, reporting risks to the project team
Provide ongoing technical support following systems deployment
Seeking continuous improvements in the implementation of processes and procedures, and delivering independently or with the team
Provide client support and training
Assist Senior Consultants in preparing responses to RFIs and RFPs
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Information Technology
Knowledge / Experience
0 to 2 years’ experience
Key experience in Enterprise Asset Management, Service Management, Facility Management, and/or Supply Chain
Proven Business Consultancy or Project Management experience on IT developments/implementations
Experience with design, configuring, and translating requirements into IT solutions
Experience implementing and integrating a 3rd-party application
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, systems, and general database applications
Client management expertise with the ability to deliver senior client-level presentations
Highly developed analytical and deductive skills to identify and grasp the client’s needs
Strong problem-solving skills that will help quickly identify and resolve issues
Good communicator with a high standard of written communication, verbal, and numerical reasoning skills.
Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, SQL)
Experience with Facility management systems (Planon, Archibus) or related applications
