Job summary

Kimly Construction Pte Ltd seeks a capable civil/structural professional to join our Singapore team across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You will manage planning, technical delivery, and on-site operations to meet schedule, budget, and quality targets.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree in civil/structural engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in the construction industry, main contractor preferred.
• Fresh graduates may apply; more experience considered for senior roles.
• Experience with structural steel is advantageous, especially residential/civil projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules and progress reports.
• Coordinate with construction team to prepare working programmes.

• Assist in the preparation of Construction Method Statements and other technical proposals.
• Coordinate with BIM on changes to drawings and designs.
• Maintain documentation and support on-site inspections and quality control.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, suppliers and authorities.
• Ensure safety and quality compliance on site.

Job description

What you'll be doing

Planning:

• Prepare and update project schedules and changes to project planning
• Coordinate with construction team to prepare working programme
• Submit daily, weekly and monthly progress updates and reports

Technical:

• Prepare, interpret and communicate engineering plans and specifications
• Provide technical support and advices as well as resolve technical problems
• Assist in the preparation of Construction Method Statements and other technical proposals
• Compile progress reports to update the progress of structural works
• Support the preparation of value engineering and alternative solutions taking into consideration cost, schedule, maintenance, and life-cycle cost implications
• Coordinate with RE and RTO on site issues

Operational:

• Perform site planning, coordination & inspection relating to the construction project so as to ensure that project completion timeline, requirements and budget are met
• Assist in the implementation of project operation to comply with ISO standard requirements, documented procedures as well as client, companies, authorities’ requirements
• Update the progress of structural works in the Progress Reports
• Assist in commissioning including coordination structural engineering
• Maintain the proper documentation of inspection forms and other follow‑up inspections from RE
• Support Quantity Surveyors in conducting site measurement and inspections
• Coordinate with BIM on any changes to drawings and designs

Customer Management:

• Liaise with clients, consultants, sub‑contractors, suppliers and all relevant authorities

Safety & Quality :

• Adhere and comply with safety requirements with regulatory and industry standards during the construction phase
• Ensure works are in compliance to quality procedures and within standard workmanship requirements

What we're looking for

• Recognized Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Preferably have 3-5 years of experience within the construction industry in main contractors
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with more extensive experience will be considered for senior roles.
• Experience with structural steel would be advantageous,especially a background in residential projects,civil projects
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and project management principles
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision‑making skills
