Job summary

Takenaka Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a capable construction planner to support the development and control of project schedules, including building works, M&E and process systems from concept to commissioning.

Proficiency in Primavera P6 is required, with 3–6 years of construction planning experience and a degree in civil engineering or construction management. You will prepare progress reports, bid submissions, and coordinate handovers on site.

Responsibilities

• Oversee RI/TOP schedule and handover readiness.
• Coordinate progress reports and client updates.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of programmes, baseline management and progress updates.

• Involvement in developing and controlling the Project Work Schedule, such as building works, M&E, and Process Systems, from concept design to construction/installation to testing and commissioning.

• Calculate/Estimate the duration of each significant construction activity and the resource requirements.

• Prepare weekly & monthly progress reports and EOT claim.

• Prepare a technical submission for all tender submissions.

• Site planning, work schedule and monitoring site implementation progress.

• Prepare and oversee the RI/TOP schedule and ensure the handover process is properly managed.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Primavera P6 (including developing project schedules with clients and generating planning and progress reports)

• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in the construction industry.

• Experience in construction planning and scheduling for building-related facilities or industrial building projects.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent qualification.
