A leading company in the manufacturing sector is seeking a Sales Order Manager to oversee order management and customer support. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude. With a minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment and a relevant Bachelor's degree, the role involves coordinating production priorities and ensuring on-time deliveries to meet customer demands.
Responsibilities & Authorities
· Sales order Management
· Customer Open Order Report
· First point of contact for customer
· Shop Floor Order Management
· OTD monitoring & recovery Plans
· Inventory & WIP level
· Owner for Product Production & Shipment Schedule
· Clearly communicate Work-In-Progress (WIP) and deliver status using verbal and written methods; maintain an updated delivery dates on a spreadsheet to ensure delivery date and assist to determine need capacity changes to meet customer demands.
· Meet production planning financial objective by coordinating to manage assembly of cost control, statistical data for SFO (shop floor order) closure, analyze variances and initiate correction action.
· Maintain production capacity by determining, monitoring and updating production priorities, developing and evaluating staff to ensure the efficient operation of function.
· SFO priority with Production and drive Supply Chain for parts to support spares OTD (On-Time-Delivery) to lead time.
· Work with Production on any issues to support OTD to lead time
· Participate in ECO implementation to ensure minimum exposure & production line interruption
· Monitor production flow, communicate delivery status and expedite material process or WIP to ensure on-time delivery.

· ERP & Microsoft Applications
· Fundamentals of MRP
· Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous.
· Possess good project background and technical knowledge.
· Mature, proactive, resourceful and hands-on with good initiative.
· Independent worker who is able to work well with minimal supervision.
· Attention to detail, commitment to quality and a sense of urgency.
· Aggressive, with good attitude and ability to make strategic decisions.
Experience and Education
· Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
· Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in customer support role
· Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Manufacturing/ Business Administration OR relevant.
